Chants of the Goddess |
£20 |
| A recording on 4 CDs of the entire Chandi Path (also known as Durga Saptasati and the Devi Mahatmyam) as chanted during the ashram’s annual Retreat. The Chandi Path is an ancient text dedicated to the Goddess Chandi, who symbolises the feminine, creative energy of the universe. The text is said to have been written around 900-500 BCE and is one of the most important texts of Shaktism (the path of tantra that worships the Goddess).
The chants on these CDs provide the listener with an experience of the transformative power of mantra.
The chanting is led by Swami Shiva Priya, accompanied by Swamis Krishnapremananda, Rama and Atma.
