Staying in the Ashram
Visitors are welcome to come and stay in the ashram in order to take in the ashram energies and to practice Yoga in its wider sense.
The daily timetable
varies according to factors such as the time of year or the number of people present at any given time. The ashram is closed for two months over the winter and also during times of retreat to allow residents to do intensive personal practice. Therefore it is best to contact the ashram to discuss an appropriate time to visit and what the daily timetable will be.
To gain the maximum benefit from the ashram environment, visitors are encouraged to participate fully in the daily routine in the spirit of service.
Mandala Yoga Ashram is a ‘Karma Yoga Ashram’ which means that Karma Yoga is a key feature of each day. Therefore the ashram is not suitable for those who are looking for a place where they can simply be on ‘retreat’ and just do their own thing each day.
