Mandala Yoga Ashram Yoga Teacher Training Course - September 2009 to July 2011 Information regarding Course Dates and Fees

Course Dates:
The course comprises of 68 full days spread over two years, as follows:
• 16 Weekend Seminars
• a 2 week Summer Retreat in 2010
• a 3 week Summer Retreat in 2011

* The Weekend Seminars start on the Friday evening and finish on the Sunday lunchtime. The one exception is the 1st weekend in September 2009 which will start on the Thursday evening.

Course Fees:
• Standard Fee: £3750
  This covers all tuition and also full board at the Ashram for all the weekend seminars and summer retreats.
• Reduced Fee: £3450
  This is available if it is paid in full by September 25th 2009.
• Deposit: £1250
  Please note that this is non-refundable and is required within 3 weeks of a place being offered to you, subsequent to the June ’09 interviews.
• Balance due in monthly instalments: £2500
  To be paid by direct debit of £125 a month for 20 months from Oct ’09 to May ’11.
Please Note: The Ashram is considering various options, including fee concessions, to help students whose financial circumstances, especially in the current economic uncertainty, make it difficult to pay the full fee. Contact the Ashram for more details.

Additional Costs:
• British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) membership subscription - to be renewed by Oct 31st each year, to be maintained throughout the course. Current teacher/ student membership is £60 per annum. If joining the BWY after April as a student teacher, the 1st year’s membership will be £47.50.
• BWY registration fee, a one-off fee payable in August, before the course starts - £120
• Assessor’s fee for the recorded teaching practice in the 2nd year: currently £50 plus travel expenses
• Assessor’s fee for the final teaching practice in July 2011: currently £75 plus travel expenses
• The text books required for the course.
• Cost of the 1st Aid Training Day, ~£45
